As the information technology specialist for the District of Columbia, Mr. Tarpley is responsible for all aspects of network engineering. He prides himself in keeping up with changes in his field by constantly training, and has honed an expertise in networking and LAN administration.

Mr. Tarpley has a bachelor of science in mathematics from the University of Greensboro and a master's degree in LAN Technology and a Ph.D. in information technology both from the University of Palmers Green in London.
