RFID Employer Workshops Announced by The Center of Workforce Innovations and BlueBean
The Center of Workforce Innovations of Northwest Indiana is excited to announce that their partner BlueBean, the RFID Solutions Company, will be presenting a workshop about the uses and benefits of radio frequency identification (RFID) technology to area employers.
/Public Sec. and Government News Articles/ - VALPARAISO, IN, August 23, 2007 - The Center of Workforce Innovations of Northwest Indiana is excited to announce that their partner BlueBean, the RFID Solutions Company, will be presenting a workshop about the uses and benefits of radio frequency identification (RFID) technology to area employers.
"RFID can benefit many of the industries in this region by reducing costs and saving time," says Tammy Stump, Senior Workforce Associate for The Center of Workforce Innovations. "Unfortunately, no other entity has come in and provided this type of information to employers in this area. That's why we are so excited about our partnership with BlueBean."
The workshop will answer the following questions:
· What is RFID technology?
· How is RFID used in the various industries?
· How can RFID be used in tracking and managing inventory?
· How can my company use RFID to provide secure yard access for trucks and trailers?
· What are the benefits of implementing RFID solutions?
"This workshop will provide a great overview of RFID, its benefits and uses and most importantly, it will give industries in Northwest Indiana a venue to learn about a technology that can improve productivity while increasing the bottom line," says Karen Radde of BlueBean.
Locations, dates and times for the workshop are being finalized and will be announced by The Center of Workforce Innovations in the next few weeks.
